A very late InnoSera post!
Amidst being completely tired out from an awesome Saturday, driving for about 5 hours on Sunday, and then going right back to work after that, I haven’t been able to post how InnoSera went! Well, “IT WAS FUN!!!” just about sums it up lol. For those of you who don’t know, InnoSera is a first time convention revolving around Lolita fashion and Asian ball-jointed dolls. There were special guests like Elfdoll, Dollheart, and Baby the Stars Shine Bright!
We started out kind of late (the bf and I), as I wanted to go earlier but we both had little sleep the night before. We missed the tea party ticket handouts, but ah life moves on. We went to the check out the Baby the Stars Shine Bright store and the Dollheart/Elfdoll rooms.

I bought a pair of BTSSB socks and stationary from the BTSSB store. I really wanted to buy more, especially the blue and black bunny bear bag they had, but decided to get more things with my money than just one dress or bag… I just really wanted quantity more than quality this time around lol.

REAAAAAALLY wanted this guy (Elfdoll Vampire Red) but also did not have enough money to get him, despite the great discount they were having on him.

I know that sculpt is a Volks girl, but the more I see her the more I realize I want that particular sculpt!!! XD She was probably one of the most popular photogenic dolls that day.

The SEA OF DOLLY SHOES. Dollheart makes such great quality stuff!!! I wish they made their shoes/boots in human size lol. They did announce they were making some of their most popular doll clothing into human size however:

They asked us to take far away/blurry shots as to not give away the details of the dress (though many people broke that rule and I’m SURE you can find better closeups and better photos than mine now) So it’s more a teaser than anything.
We decided to kill time waiting for the Baby the Stars Shine Bright fashion show to start, and took some photos. Here is the bf posing with Robin:

The pose was his idea, by the way. Why can’t I think of creative things to do???
So we did one with me and Robin too:

Darn petticoat.

Decked out in Atelier Boz
Isn’t he stunning?

Yeah I know. I still don’t know how to smile
Darn wobbly/funky knees. I really like this coord though <3

Still killing time before the show. You know he wanted to show off that Vivienne Westwood ring lol. Which reminds me, I forgot to wear mine!!! T.T
We were one of the first few people to get into the room
I met with Nikki and sat next to her for the whole show. I wish I got a picture of her outfit!!! She has one of my dream jsk’s lol. She looked absolutely gorgeous, she should have been in the fashion show too <3

Here the guy introduces designer Kumiko Uehara of Baby the Stars Shine Bright. “Can I steal you???” I thought as she spoke lol. Her whole look is amazing.
And because there are just way too many photos… I’ll just link to each gallery:
You can follow each respective page on the left links
The finale with the models posing with designer Kumiko Uehara:

I was very envious of the girls who got to be chosen, but in the end I knew I’m too short and unproportional to be a model anyway. One day I would dream to be like Uehara-san <3

One of my favorite outfits was surprisingly the kodona outfit <3 If I decide completely to get out of lolita fashion, I would probably flock to boy style instead XD
Now my biggest question about these outfits are that normally all these clothes are huge on me when I buy from BTSSB. I know a few of these girls (the models I mean) who have very similar measurements to my own, who wore these outfits without a problem. I know that they probably had to pin some hems back and such, but I really wonder exactly where they had to pin and stuff (just so I could do it for myself, lol). Nikki told me that they wore like, 3 pairs of bloomers and petticoats O.o
I wanted to go on Sunday but some family related things popped up and I ended up driving from Seattle to Chehalis, and then eventually back from Chehalis to Seattle in the same day. I hate driving. And speaking of which we are doing that today too. Poo.
I had fallen in love with the Elfdoll tinies (as stated several posts down), and I saw Elfdoll Olivia for sale in the Elfdoll/Dollheart room. Sunday morning when I realized I would miss out on such a deal, I gave money to the bf and asked him to go get her for me since I wouldn't be able to go. When I got home in the evening, there she was in our living room <3

Kowaii~~!!! Please don’t stare at me like that… so many people today…
(lol she was like this at the con before the bf brought her home. Poor thing XD)
This is what her whole set came with:

Quite a steal!!! They had this whole basket fullset on sale for about $220 with tax. She normally costs around $260, not including the extra wig, stand, some of the clothing, and one of the pairs of feet. She’s obviously the older version with strung feet and not the new magnetic feet like I had hoped. And I was going to wait and get Elfdoll Sylf, but I wanted Olivia eventually so I might as well get her new… I’ve had her for a week and I still haven’t thought of a name…
How’s Nami? That was the first name I thought of when I had my Elfdoll Soah arrive… but I decided to name her Robin instead. I gotta think on it some more…
This is probably the most picture heavy post I’ve ever made!!!
Now to go to the grocery store. I have a strange urge to eat spaghetti-O’s…. I must be the only 20-something year old who eats them.
